About Us - Our "roots" in the coffee growing industry

We are a three generations coffee family, located in Boquete, Panama. Since the late 1800's, we have been dedicated to the traditional coffee varieties and shade growing methods characteristic of excellent coffee flavor and wildlife preservation. What was once a single farm in Boquete, Panama is now a coffee crafting enterprise in that not only grows coffee but also processes the green coffee beans as well as roasts and packages it. In addition to our farms, a group of small-scale family farms partner with us to process, roast and market their shade grown coffee.

CAFE RUIZ is a registered trademark of Casa Ruiz, S. A. for its high-end quality roasted coffee according to international standards. This name is also the expression and result of our committed efforts to bring to you what our wonderful surrounding coffee areas produce.
